Battery Base

Little help fellows ...

Optimas used to come with this kind of cap that also can be used at " base " to make it taller .. which it's the correct name or how I can track it down ..?

Mine looks suspiciously like a piece of scrap 5/4 PT decking board. Works perfectly.

Optima refers to those as "Height Adapters"

there may be several variances with regards to battery group size.

so first you must know what you have !?

should be able to buy those direct from Optima...
could be something on ebay :dunno:

yer pics look to be trays for the 35 group size batteries...
except the redtop adapters look to be for the 34 R

Most commonly they come with the battery when that's purchased.
