A friend who owns a few dozen(s) x many more
than the wife approves ‘cars’. Everything from moto guzzi to a double decker bus, showed me his 1978 FJ40. It was dark, there’s no power in the barn so we took photos via flashlight. Runner that he parked years ago, was original owner prior to him acquiring for free at an estate sale. I advised him to get it running again, mechanical refurb, and do a patina preservation. He’s considering selling. Too cool to not share with y’all

He told me it has a brake light built into the spare tire. The original owner must know Jen!

I’ll lean on him pretty hard to get this back on the road. I worry he will let it sit there and not do anything with it.
