B Engine Injection Timing

I´ve got two manuals covering the B Engine

My B, 2B Engine Manual says set the injection timing at 10⁰ BTDC

My B, 3B, 11Bm 13B, 13BT manual says set the injection timing at 14⁰ BTDC

My vehicle is a 1975 BJ40 frame number BJ40-001368.

The first manual is applicable as follows:

The second manual is applicable as follows:

So I could choose to go with the first manual as it´s the closest match to mine ie it covers the BJ40 even if it only covers later models than mine. Or I could choose to go with the 2nd manual on the basis the first one contained an error which has since been corrected. Or I could choose to decide that neither manual applies and I need to ask someone on MUD who knows for sure.

If I had to guess ,I would go with the older manual.

The FSM's you're referring to are printed 1977 and 1994
This is from the FSM B engine No. 98082 print date 1973

So 10º BTDC

BTW: my '78 BJ40 is also 10º BTDC
