Autometer electric H2O temp gauge

2FE conversion. Would like to connect it to the stock sensor in Thermostat housing. Will it read correctly or do I need to adapt the Autometer sensor to the housing? I have a mechanical gauge but don't want to connect to the radiator hose as Autometer shows. Thoughts and advice appreciated.

Senders and gauges don't always work well together, especially if from different manufacturers. I would suspect that you need the Autometer sender for the Autometer gauge.

^^^ Thanks Pighead. Will need a BSPT adapter and hopefully the sensor does not interfere with the thermostat. Will order it up and see how it goes.
