I've re-stitched my front seats several times, but they are now beyond repair and need to be re-upholstered. I was hoping to find some FJ Cruiser front seats in black, but that's just not going to happen.

Any recommendations? Hopefully in SD area.

FJ seats will fit in an 80? Sorry for misdirection of thread.

have you considered shane's seat kits? they are really nice quality, redid my whole 2 front rows, they are super thick and well made. I have seen others get their seats releathered for less but the leather was thin and will not hold up.......

I would have to make a custom bracket. I like the black fabric FJC seats. I will keep looking at the salvage yards.

I've seen Noah's seats and they are pretty sweet.

They look great, but I really only need the drivers seat cushion done, so this is a little more than I wanted to spend. I will check with Shane to see if he will sell individual pieces.

This is good to know how the $$ for new cushions. I think I may be able to get the FJ seats for this price which is my preferred option.

If you find out about Shane selling JUST the driver's seat please let us know. My 97 driver seat is a little worn but the passenger seat looks almost new. It's such a huge waste to replace both when only one needs it.
 
I had 2 sets of seats done by California Fabworks.

Jason and his Dad run the shop. They rebuilt the seats to my specs (over built bolsters). They are great guys. Support a local company and give them a shot at your business.
