I am working on installing an Aussie tank in the pig. I bought it used, so I need help with outlets.
Drivers side-4 small up high (emissions)
1 larger (filler vent?)
Passenger side- 2 large (feed and return?,which is which?)

also any idea where to get a sender?

Thanks Gary

This is the big 48 (?)gallon tank in a 71 pig. I also wonder about the weight of tank and fuel (400lbs)
hanging off the 4 bolts on the rear floor support. Has anybody had any problems? I was thinking about hanging the tank off some brackets off of the frame. Any ideas?

I had a 53 gallon tank for a while in one of the pigs. It was very poorly secured (which was the reason why I found a stock replacement) and was resting on insulated steel stock bolted to the frame.

One of the issues I had with the tank was the sender. I ended up brazing in a section of metal rod to extend the float arm on the sender. This worked but was not too accurate with the little stock gauge. The gauge did give you a general idea of how much fuel was left, +/- 5 gallons. The configuration of the tank insulated it from getting an electrical ground, so I had to use an additional wire to ground it.
