Only the pansies take the Lodestone route into Whipsaw

Or maybe "pansies" willing to sacrifice going in the conventional way to secure camping. Maybe this pansie will join you guys coming in the front way and we can have a "free for all" searching for camp spots, that's always fun.

I like free for alls were in.

Still planning to go, depending on the big purchase that is. The only flaw in the plan is that I might have to work, as that holiday weekend conflicts with a work installation and start up. So, I might be sending the wife and kids out in the newasofyetunpurchasedwagon on her maiden voyage into the unexplored wilderness with me a day or so behind in my 40 (which I better get my ass in gear getting it back up to snuff).
Could be an interesting time, as the :princess: and the two :bounce: :bounce2: have never wheeled before by themselves. I'll know more as D-day approaches, but she would like to have a guide to follow out there.

I going in the rear way myself
I'm bored with going in the front way

More time for exploring too now

I should use this for my new sig line in any threads over in the Schat forum :p

Well, if you guys are all so bored with Whipsaw, why did you vote to go in there again this year? Its not to late to change our plans and go somewhere else, we can decide at the next meeting. We could go up to Poison Mountain and vicinity instead or wherever. Maybe you'd really prefer 4 days camped at Lodestone with the Hundai Ponys, the good ol' boys with their Ford 150 bear bangers and the Pontiac Fireflys I guess.

Hey Dan, at least we can get over a stick.

Bill, can you really call me a pansy? :flipoff2:

Actually, after a weekend of camping, you are definitely NOT a pansy....
You are a Passiflora Foetida! ;p And they smell great!

I like Bill's suggestion for Poison Mountain, maybe windy ridge, camp out at one of the lakes up there.

Me,for one plan on going in via Loadstone.Fun for me isn't setting up camp, tearing in down, then packing up the truck just to repeat again twice more over the weekend.I think I'll just set up camp once,go out wheelin for the day, then go back to camp and swill beer.Eat breakfast the next morn then repeat the forementioned process. If that makes me a Pansie then I think I like Pansies. Not only are we good looking but we'er smart too.

Hey Guys! Here’s a great idea….we don’t want to go the front way into Whipsaw Creek, we don’t want to have to repeatedly put up our tents and fight for campsites, RIGHT?
Well, then, here’s THE ANSWER: Cultus Lake DAYTRIPS! The Perfect Family Getaway. No fuss, no dusty Cruisers to clean out, no annoying trail repairs, no stinking mud to wash off. The kids will love it, and best of all, we can sleep in our own beds at night! Think about it: the many luxuries of home at night while adding the wonders of nature by day! Added bonus: we won’t burn nearly as much diesel fuel if our rigs are parked in the spacious pay parking lot! And dad, don’t forget there is a 18 hole golf course, hiking trails, and even mini golf for the little ones! Why didn't we think of this before??? :flipoff2:

Didn't like that idea?? OK, here's another one: turn your Cruiser into a couch for your living room. No depreciation, no messy repairs, no fuel problems, no stinking mud, no constant tent erections! No hassles, just kick back and swill brew! Its the Canadian Way, eh? :flipoff2:
