For sale 1972 FJ40 FST. This is a survivor that has never been restored, never been taken apart. They are only original once. Lots of patina on the original paint. Lived on a ranch in Montana. Parked in a barn so out of weather. The soft top was only installed just prior to my purchase. It was as new in its plastic bag. The only rust is the two spots where all cruisers rust at the rear fender corners, but even this is very small and easily fixed. I chose to not fix it as it is part of its history. Seats have been recovered. Only reason for selling is I have too many classics and this one doesn’t get driven. I chased this truck for over a year from the PO. DM if interested.

Yea, I agree. It is super cool. I wish I could keep it, but I have too many toys and need to expand my garage, so this must go to fund the construction. I have not done anything to "detail" this rig. With a little conservative restoration touches, it will be a real time capsule land cruiser. If I didn't have my 1982 rig, this one would not be leaving my stable.

I remember this one on BaT years ago. My brain won the argument with my heart. It was a steal back then. Love this rig.

Crazy, thing sold for $9,200 back in 2017. Prices of these things went nuts.
Yea if only I was that guy. I paid significantly more than that! I chased this truck for two years before the PO finally decided to sell it to me. It’s rare to find a never restored, never taken apart, honest original truck. Original paint and an FST to boot.

What are you asking for it?

Post the damn price already.

[edit: Allow me to rephrase my earlier request. Excuse me ol' chap. It would be jolly good of you to adhere to the protocol established for the benefit of all concerned on this fine web site by communicating your desired renumeration for this fine vehicle. If you would be so kind].

Well- since the OP hasn’t said otherwise- I’m going to assume we’re meant to bid on this rig as an auction.

I therefore will start the bidding at $6.00 usd
