Altec Lansing model 14 speakers $900
Excellent condition

I also have several collectable direct to disc vinyl if interested.

I've never heard those speakers but from what the internet says, they're great. You need a good amp to drive them (no newer chinese junk) to their full potential. Why are you selling them?

The sensitivity is something 98db @ 1 watt using a pink noise. As for a needs for a good amp you dont need a lot of power but something with a lot of head room would be ideal. Kinda like you would not put a Leupold scope on a BB gun. Not a lot of use after 35+ years especially since my hearing went. IIRC I paid $1450 in 1978.

Main reason I won't spend much money on audio. Happy with the vintage speakers I've found for cheap just needing a little work.

I did check my old cassette player. It's a Nakamichi BX-300. Little research and looks like the idler wheel most likely the problem and available cheap. Guess I'll see if that fits it and use it to convert some off my old cassettes to digital and it's the only place media I have it on.

I do have some old Baldor 3 phase motors I planned on using in a cooler. Moved and no longer have three phase power. 1 HP/230 volt/2 speed. I have two of them and third motor I believe is a single speed 1 hp. All brand new. Make me a offer.

I've got a Marantz Model 2325 Stereophonic that is just taking up space right now. Also a pair of Bose 2.2 direct-reflecting speakers, though I'm not sure if 1980's is vintage yet...

I wasn't the one posted looking for vintage equipment. But I have been looking for a Pioneer SX1250 or SX1280 at a descent price. The Marantz seems close but my budget for audio is a small fraction of what my cruiser budget think this is more then I looking to spend. The thing I am really looking for is a good speaker switch with multable inputs and separate volume controls
