4x4 Adventure Lights

Anyone have one of the new LED light sticks from ARB? We have one of the tube type - does a nice job, maybe not quite up to the ad shown... but quite respectable. Thinking of ordering one of the LED flavors, just wondered if anyone had yet.
 
x2 on the info! Looks great, I have the craftsman light bar wand thing. its lightweight fragil and not bright enough. its a good thing that christmas is comming.
 
Bought a similar one today for 15 Euros. [about 20$]
30 LED 12Volt/220Volt and a accu inside so it works about 4 hours without any cords.
Not bad for the price.........:cool:
 
How much is it? might be good for the xmas list.

peter any detials on the one you got.
 
Seen the LED version for ~$70.00; our fluorescent tube one was ~ 50.00 IIRC.

Should have thought of ebay, there are a lot there. I just cant find one that meets my requirements: rechargeable ac/dc, led, 2 power levels, versatile as flashlight or lantern style. I want to be able to use it for camping, power outages and auto repair.

I have just the light your looking for, unfortunatly i dont have any pics, Its rechargeable and has both a flash light mode and lantern mode, comes with cig lighter charger. and has a small pop up handle to carry it around. Its all led and the thing lasts forever. Only issue is i havent seen them here for sale, there made in south africa (i bought mine when i was there a year ago) Ill see if i can dig up some pics or info best light i have with out a doubt.

I think the model name is: 10500010 - 4X4 Adventure Light LED
 
Most of the LED stick lights are higher bulb temp than I really like. The blue light they cast is not very human eye friendly. I wonder what the bulb temps are in the new ARB LED light? Or is it more "whitish" or does it more "bluish"?
