Hey guys.

So I know this sounds crazy but i took the wife out in our newer 100 up to the mountains today. The snow level has dropped here in OR and we decided to test out the heated leather and the ATRAC. Hold on, I'm not in the wrong section...
Anyways we pull over and lo and behold there is a Toy dif in the ditch! I happen to own a built mini and could recognize from ten feet that there was a locker! What! An ARB air locker!

So I haven't torn into it yet but it looks like a pin or bolt has fallen out from somewhere and gnarled up the ring and pinion and jammed itself between the ring gear and the housing.

I have a powertrax in the rear of my mini that i installed in about 2000 and it has gotten very noisy and not very street friendly. I was about to swap it to the front and throw my E-locker in the rear just cause i'm tired of listening to it.
I would love to throw an air locker in there but have always been too cheap since i already have that powertrax.

So have any of you guys had to rebuild or replace any pieces on these things? Where do i get bits and pieces and where do i find a good exploded diagram?

I'll pull this thing apart and throw some pics up this week.

Thanks

I've done a few. Need to see pics, then I can help. Sounds like the cross pin came out. You can get parts directly from ARB, or any dealer.

ARB used to have the diagrams on their website, but they've redesigned their website and I wasn't able to find them now. Not sure if they're hiding there somewhere.

Thanks I looked last night and found the diagrams hidden in there.

That is some luck isn't it!
So I just looked at it a little and it looks like the cylinder cap bolts fell out. You can see one in the bolts next to the ring gear here.

It destroyed the piston, not sure what else yet. It looks like this was just set up. There's grease paint still on the ring teeth! The whole thing doesn't look that bad though. Why would you dump it?
