R12 til April 1993 production, dryer in front of the battery. R134 from May 93 on. Dryer behind bumper, right about where rocks hit it......;)

Sorry to hi-jack Brent, but is the r12 colder then the 134? i have heard mixed feedback!

After working in a shop for some time and doing alot of AC jobs, Neither one or the other will actually get colder. If they are both done properly they should both work within a few degrees of eachother. I have made a original R12 car blow 36 degrees running R134 on a 90 degree day with high humidity. Any good AC person should be able to get these same results.

exactly how I busted mine

I'm amazed how much I miss A/C in the fall and winter...
defrost doesn't work as well without the a/c...bummer.

No problem Kevin. ARB is going in right now. Online to figure out wiring for the front blinkers. Blue and Brown wires out of the ARB. Green and Black on the front turn signal. Now - what to I splice to what.

Probably will get the dryer skid plate. It can go on later. Pics being taken, so will post up when finished.

Slightly off topic but still ARB bull bar specific -

Johnny, do youself a favor and remove those shackles from those rings. They might encourage you to use those as anchor points. Those tabs are pathetically flimsy when compared to the weight of your truck and will bend, deform and generally endanger everyone around if used in recovery situations.

Ok, didn't mean to rant but sometimes the "look" is cool but the fxn is crap.

Finished the install. Will post pics and details in a new thread after I take 'after' photos tomorrow. Finished just at dark so no pics of it installed.

One question. My PIAA 520's are going to need some spacers to lift them up enough so that the bottom of the light can point forward/down a little. Right now they won't even sit level. Just the nature of the PIAA's or is a spacer needed on most lights?

Hey Brent...I had to put spacers underneath my Cibie's after I realized I was blinding 99% of the oncoming cars and they were losing control of their rigs...

I used some metal washers on the attachment bolts and pointed them down indeed...

Post up when you got the pics.

Cheers.

Beno - got the pies in the oven today and headed down to the hardware store before the close for longer bolts and nuts. Will use one bolt and one washer up top as spacers.

God, the ARB looks like it belongs on the truck!

Congrats Brent!

When are we installing the OME? :D

Cool!

Congrats man!

Have a great Christmas!

Looks better and better Brent......
