I started with a 63 sold it and went with a 50 mostly because it would not fit through the door of my pop-up. Also found the 63 a little oversized for my needs.

How do you feel about the height difference in the 63 vs 50? I like the 3" less height on the 63.

It just arrived in.
Slightly larger than expected but I like it.
I think its going to be a good size for the back of my truck.

The lid is on there freaking tight. Does this wear in a little?
It might be a bit different if the thing is tied down too I am guessing.

I have had mine for almost 3 years now and the lid is still tight (a good thing).

ForealBoreal.. could you post pics of it in your rig..
I want to get an idea of size...

Thanks..

Ok, it must come off easier with the fridge strapped down tight.

Yeah even having food in it helps to weigh it down a bit. I just give it a sharp tap to the side and it pops lose. Really handy when it cant open all the way in the truck.

A note for you, make sure you clean up any spills with a mild bleach water solution and after each use. I wiped mine out with a damp rag and left it unplugged for a couple months and opened it to find a nice black mess of mould in the bottom. I also leave the lid propped up a bit now when not in use or plugged in.

Will do. Truck is still in the garage. Hoping to have it out this weekend or Mon/Tues at the absolute latest.
Pretty pumped on the addition. Should fit just fine, its going to be sweet to have drawers.

Yeah I have to deal with in the past. I hope to avoid that.
I might play with the settings a bit initially. I have set mine to high (max battery reserve) for safety reasons (starting) until I get my third battery thing sorted out.

2 is overkill, the 50 will handle a small moose if packed properly.

2 fridges? I guess that would entirely depend on how remote and how long you were going. If anything having a dedicated freezer and fridge would be the way to go. This fridge is going to last me my life hopefully.

Working just fine. Really like the thing. My bag will be at home when I am back from my school stint in 3 weeks.

Thanks for the picts. Just what I was looking for, couldn't choose what fridge size to go with, going with the 60l now. Quick question, is the bag worth buying and is that basket all one piece? Thanks ALL, for all the info:cheers:

Lots of folks claim significant results from using the transit bags.

Just wanted to comment on the HZJ77 pics... pretty outstanding. Wish my troopie had 4 doors sometimes!

Yeah I am waiting for the bag to come in as it's on back order from Australia

Yeah I love my 77 and after using this fridge for the past month it's been awesome
Tons of room.

Oh and the basket is one piece
The center piece can be removed as well as the basket can be flipped 180 degrees
