Crud, I was taking my carb apart due to misfiring and rich smells from my exhaust. I was checking eveything out after I got home today. The gasket around the float bowl (3 sides of it) was missing after I cleaned the shellac off last weekend. I guess the shellac was partially sealing it until I cleaned it off and drove a few miles. Arrrrgh! There was dirt in the bottom of the bowl and in the needle, etc. I guess it is just not time for me to start the club. I will make it someday. I promise.
