Shawn I would allow 15-20 minutes to meet spot from there

Murf

Trying to estimate drive time from the east side. How long does it take to arrive at the table Mesa turn off from the 101/I-17 intersect?

Thanks
Shawn
I always figure about 1.5 hours from the Chandler mall. John

:crybaby: I am for sure not going to be able to make it after all. Its been like two whole weeks and I need to hit a trail again soon! :bang:

See you in the AM. I will have the FJC. The 80 is having tranny issues and I have been busy with work the last few weeks so I have not been able to trouble shoot.

We couldnt of asked for a nicer day: nice temps and cool breezes - we had 10 trucks and everyone was early

Bob P. took us in a different way to Tip Top which was a little rougher and more challenging. Most definetly not "stocker friendly". It was also very scenic and less traveled which was a bonus (thx Bob!)

We saw some ruins, panned for gold at the lunch stop, and had some water crossings. Pictured are FTBshop then Rudster pushing some water.

This old car was getting taken over by roots!

Met this cowboy who was rounding up cattle for an area ranch. He stopped and talked to us for a while - he has a pretty cool job.

The lunch spot where we panned for gold hoping to strike it rich. I think Msahr has some great pictures of the kids trying thier luck.

An old wall and fireplace where this fellow found a good hidey-hole

Mtkreitz headed down in his green 80 with Lake Pleasant in the background.

looks like you guys had a good day. Would of went on this run but had 2 basketball games, a soccer game, and a very sick cat to deal with.

Looks like a fun day... That river crossing is making me wish I was able to make it! Looks amazing!

Would you guys care to share the route how you made it frm TipTop to the west side of Lake Pleasant?

I have it on my Garmin. I think you need MapSource to download it. Send me your e-mail and I will send it to you as an attachment...Bob

Very cool!

Here are a few of my pictures from the run. Water crossing included a short drive down a wet road;

A great run, a few kids and ladies along for the ride, and plenty of trail challenges to make it interesting. This was definitely NOT a stocker-friendly run.

Thanks to Murp for posting it for the club, to the ride leaders and various tailgunners throughout the trip - you guys all make it worthwhile. See you next time,

 pix!

Did you see the crested saguaros? There is one in Bolder Canyon and one on the ridge just before Tip Top.

I did see one or two of them. Big specimens out there!

Man I really missed out.. this one looked like fun.. HoneyDo's are killing me... but I'm sacrificing for future fishing trips.. :o
