Yep. @gxblade1 is actually who informed me about the GB, as we've both been looking at fridges. I ordered mine and it should be here Friday. I also informed some of the members over at TOR and at least one of them placed an order with Lu over the phone. So that's at least 2 fridge sales that he could be credited for making.

Much appreciated to you both! And when doing things like this its nearly impossible to give credit where it's due, as people can buy without leaving any feedback. I don't even bother trying to measure it as it is a waste of time, but i appreciate your help all the same even if there is no evidence of it resulting in a sale. We are blessed to have such an awesome community of people to work with, and thank you for playing part in making that so.

Well, on that note, I'm working on a Group Buy for the Jackery 240. Need to get a little more interest before I create another thread, but couldn't hurt to link it here.

You are doing better than I did! I have contacted Jackery several times with no luck, but I did ask for a whopping 25% discount on all models. Let me know if you can figure out how many we need for 25% off and I will hop on board and do everything I can for you. I’m mainly interested in a 500 or 1000 as I already have a 160, but the Jackery 240 at 200 is a good deal as well. I know they occasionally do 25% off on select models (1 at a time and through amazon/their own page) but not all at once.

Their support seems to be in the EU and I normally get responses while I'm sleeping. It was slow going at first, but it is going much smoother now that I have a contact. I asked about other models and solar panels as well. Though I got the impression that I needed to start with a single model, so I started with the 240 as that's the one I'd be interested in (based on cost and performance).

Let's not get side tracked though. This thread is about ICECO fridges. I only mentioned the Jackery thing in case others who recently purchased (or are thinking of purchasing) want an alternative to a dual battery setup.

I appreciate you sharing brother, and I do like using the Jackery as an alternative as I am far from ready to tackle on a dual battery system project. I am sure others will appreciate it as well.

I may not ever need to go dual battery with how efficient and capable these portable systems are now, and Jackery is definitely the standard for quality power banks. Funny that someone mentioned in your thread that Jackery rebranded a model for Honda, as I like to think of them as the Honda of power banks.

I went ahead and added a little note to the first post of thread under “August 26 update”. I hope enough people join to get everyone a great price for a great product. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to assist, and thanks again!

I hadn't received an update on email on my order placed a few days ago, however, I clicked the email link and happy to see that the product is shipped and arriving today! I live in san diego nearby, but super stoked on quick turn around and shipping.

Nice! Mind sharing which model that was? And thanks for filling us in, much appreciated bud.

I really wasn’t paying attention to when it would ship, but wouldn’t you know.. Santa delivered yesterday.. Christmas in August!
Nice! Did you get a VL as well?

Really appreciate everyone updating us on their orders by the way, @silver02accord and @Mildot83.

Ive been thinking of ways to show people how sturdy these things are, and the hammer test isn’t exciting enough for me. We have “different” standards here on mud.

My question now is, Does a 200 series stock LX have enough flex to pop a wheel up on the VL45? And what’s a good way to safely get on and off it with my LX?

FYI I do have multiple forklifts at my disposal on weekends. I was thinking either try to lift one corner up with forklift then slide fridge under, or build some sort of ramp/find a natural ramp somewhere, then drive up on it.

@gxblade1 if I don’t have an extra fridge to send after the TR gets here, at least you’ll know why.

I got the VL60 single zone and the slide to go with it.. I was going to get the 45, but for less that $50 got the bigger one.. justified it because I saved 50 on the slide ( that’s how it works in my mind at least).

Seems legit. Thanks for filling us in lol.

Just received the fridge, plugged in and cooling down. Do you know if the covers ship separately? There wasn't a cover in the box, should I send an email or?

EDIT: The cover came today as well, different parcel. I think it looks quite nice. It has cut out for vents of course as well as the control screen, power cable and has a little pouch for bottle openers etc. You will have to unzip the cover slightly to open a compartment.

If you ordered one with cover and got no cover, that means the covers are en route to the US and will ship out separately. I’d send Lu a text now to let him know it’s missing cover, and check back in about a week if no shipping status by then. Keep us posted bud, and thank you!

You can update that post again. They are including solar panels and all Jackery Explorer models (sans the 160).

Nice work boss! I will do that thanks for letting us know!

@cmw my bad I did not post price sheet this week, partly because I’m waiting for the TR and Expandable to become available then posting everything.

@stonestone thanks for checking in brother, much appreciated!
