So I just paid over $4/gal for some gas in the 80 and it's starting to sting a little. Anyone want to trade me their 22RE 4Runner? I don't care if it has IFS or not, I just want a good camping/light wheeling rig that gets semi decent mileage.

This is getting outrageous, $60 didn't even fill my tank... sheesh...

Alternatively, if someone has a Cummins 4BTA they're willing to donate I would take that too... :D

My '85 22RE 4Runner is setting on my trailer, waiting for Shannon's garbage, uh, garage sale to be over on the 31st. Hopefully then we'll see what the engine is/is not doing.

edit: She's selling anything and everything one would need for a boy from birth to 2.

what's she want for the 2K worth of pamper money that you spend ? :hillbilly:

Cost me $62 bucks to fill the tank in my Maxima (premium) and im getting rid of it in favor of the 80 as my daily driver, im a glutton I know, but that LC is worth it. I will be driving the 80 less than the Max though so she will just have to fill up her car when we take it on long trips all the time (instead of me!)

If I bought a Samurai with yota axles could I still be a part of TAC? :D

I think I might want one.

Hmm... can I just yank the VIN plate from a junked yota? :D

Not entirely sure I'm ready to sell the 80, but probably $7000 give or take $1000 or so (I haven't researched prices much yet so don't rake me over the coals just yet).

EDIT AGAIN: Decided I would trade for the right 4Runner/Samurai :D

I changed my mind again.

If the right opportunity presents itself I will probably part with the 80. 12.5 MPG on the highway sucks too much for our only reliable highway vehicle.

Anyone got a Taco, 4R, anything they'd want to trade?

Heck, a RAV4 is starting to look appealing, but then I'd have to turn in my man card :D

Andrew,

I purchased a $400 Honda Accord 3 years ago that I now drive every day so that I could keep my LandCruiser. Its ugly, but I dont care with how much gas costs. I now only drive the LandCruiser on Fridays as my reward day!

Problem is I already have another car, and I'm not selling that one. The Cruiser is actually my DD, and the Torino my weekend vehicle. It just happens that the Cruiser also makes for a wonderful project vehicle. :)

So, basically I want to swap out the Cruiser for the "right" replacement. I'm not in a hurry so it's not a huge deal.

Thanks for the tip though, if it were up to me I'd have 10 vehicles... :)
