You could just use paint stripper and then polish them yourself. Total cost would be $20-30 and some elbow grease.

If you got access to a die-grinder you'll need a lot less elbow grease. I polished up all sorts of motorcycle parts to a mirror finish this way. Autosol is my polish of choice.

If you don't want to do it yourself, you should talk to Richard at "Mirror Image" metal polishing here in Victoria.

andrew just strip them, it will be a bit of work but I am sure they will turn out fine if you cant find someone to switch with.
