I'd like to hear from people who have added a front sway bar to their fj55. I'm mainly curious to hear how much you felt it helped with body roll/handling?

Thanks,
Rodney

I do not know of any offhand...the pigs sway seems to be determined by ride height, shock and spring rate and load factor as much as your center of gravitas vs. gravity, if ya know what I mean......what kind of shocks and what condition are the springs? do you has rack? what kind of load? what kind of ride height? SOA?

Tuffmudder,

I know I'm no help, but I have one on both my axles. They are 60 axles, though and I have no idea on how they will help. For my usage, they should work great, no rock crawling.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Lambcrusher, my pig will be SOA on the stock springs, no additional lift. She'll be weighted down by custom a 4BT, front and back bumpers, and a roof rack. I havent picked shocks yet, but will likely be along the lines of adjustable Rancho's. My center of gravitas swings low, so hopefully that will help ;).

Ron, that's good to know. Where did you get your 60 series front sway bar?

I'm not really having any luck finding anything online. Do you know if the guy in Saint louis will ship? If so, do you have his name or number?
