Towed up to Rathtrevor and back with the new head/gasket and Evans Coolant this weekend. Ambient temps around 32-34C there and back. Towing the 16' camper trailer. Truck had good power and was totally reliable. Had no problems at all. Ran pretty hot though, until I slowed down and started just hanging out behind loaded freight trucks, then the little motor was much happier. I'll have to do more towing to get a feeling for the Evans and if it will cut it long term. Otherwise it'll be a 1UZFE for sure this winter. Can't bear the thought of buying a pickup to replace the cruiser, so will do what I have to do.

Thing I really don't like about the Evans so far is how much less efficient it is at transferring heat. Truck runs hotter with it, although in theory it doesn't matter. I just haven't built the trust yet.
