Anyone heard/seen the Tropical Roof Option for a FJ55? (1 Viewer)

I was looking at an Australian sales brochure from 1978 and one of the options it mentioned was a tropical roof ( others included long range fuel tank and Kangaroo guard). I've never heard of this before and was wondering if anyone knew what it was.

Could simply be a sunroof, perhaps roof windows like a Landrover ( might be cool), second roof skin, who knows, might have been a local market only thing.

Was it burgundy and had a snorkel?
We have one here in the USA that keeps getting stuck in a ditch on the side on the road that fits that description.

yeh ive seen one in Aus with a safari roof. you might find a photo of it in the facebook group. ive only seen one with this option though.

Maybe it swerved off the road at the shock of seeing a free range Kangaroo? It would be like me seeing a grizzly here.
