Hello curious if anyone has ever had a custom cut power steering line, I know the OEM line is very very difficult to replace with removing the front clip a necessity to gain access.

Mine is leaking extremely bad

I just do not have a lot of time right now and would like to try to have a custom line made anybody with any experience in this. I think I have found a place in the Denver area that will do this. Just wondering if anybody has any experience or advice

Curious about this as well for the future. From what research I’ve done, the fittings are hard to find so it is advisable to keep and reuse the old ones.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me will chime in.

Good point does anyone know the fitting requirement thread pitch etc….

Well there you go. I was reading somewhere here recently about a unique fitting on a hydraulic hose on the FJ62.

The problems with the internet can easily be blamed on the brains that frequent it I guess.

Yep I get them psc in a 2 pack they are stainless steel not aluminum and convert to 6an

T,

YES- That would be the easiest conversion. PSC or similar adapters ( M16x 1.5 x 6AN ) and the a HP hose with 6AN ends.

IMO this would be easier to obtain and less $$ overall.

What is the AN ??? if I order the hose with M 16 X 1.5 will that bolt right on?

There are several posts that refer to an adapter to AN

Is that necessary or is AN more universal but not necessary

What hose are you referring to? If your talking about the one i posted from auto zone it is a direct replacement for the 62 oem power steering line. Simple easy fix.
