Can't really tell from the pics but I don't see anything to make me think it was a factory soft top model. Can't see the door hinges, can't see the eye bolts for the door straps, etc. Also, not that it's soft top specific, no turn signals on the front fenders. Worth checking out but check to see if he has the original soft top bows (repo's are about $600) and soft doors (getting hard to find)?

I've seen this truck in person and I think (IIRC) that it is a soft top. He's had this truck for a while and as far as I know it's pretty clean. Don't know about the 12K but a solid truck.

1973 Toyota FJ40

This guy seems ready sell and dropped the price again. Does anybody know him or truck?

Know the truck but not this owner. Former owner came to a meeting one time. Yes the truck has seen lots of mud in it's past! I remember lookng in the truck and asking how do you put it in low range? "Aw man you just pull that shifter back and it's in 4wd" I said no not 4wheel high! The tranny hump wasn't even cut out for it to be shifted into low. Ughhh! He fixed it and was amazed at the difference! Someone buy it so we can have a mud truck in the club!

I think the red one is not suitable for that payload..

I know this guy. I went to high school with him I have seen the truck....last rime was about a month Ago. He just really needs te money. Since he bought it he has corrected a few of the problems it had. He has also put six shooter knuckles, and a nice high steer kit. An he rebuilt the front axle. Nice guy, If anyone wants let me know. He really needs the money.

I guess thats why you raved about the MDX to my wife..which is an acura. Well you got the X right. So glad she didnt like the MDX. I would take a 100 over a GX.

You are sounding like Obama.....

It's HER car. You have 3 manly vehicles to drive.

Besides, she always drives you around anyway :steer:

MDX is a great mom/kid hauler. GX is better....

I owned an 07 MDX for 2 years and it was a great truck. Definitely not an offroad vehicle but it would cruse at 95 on the interstate with no problems. Good HP, gas mileage and a fantastic stereo.....

Trying to talk her out of the GX for this..

Checked it out with jrob today its got rust in all the right places. It aint pretty and would be a great pure wheeler that can be driven on the street as is.
