H-41 Tranny and HC 4" Lift Springs
I need to raise cash to pay for body repairs to the rustbucket 40. I'm selling some gear I bought to build a trail rig but decided not to use. Before I list this stuff on MUD, I thought I'd give the Cottonland brothers first crack. Descriptions to follow.
Hell Creek FJ40 4" lift springs--$375 New, never installed. Tom Laher at Hell Creek sells them for $119.13 per spring, or $476.52 for all 4, plus shipping. I paid $375 for the springs, and that's what I'd want for them. (I do not have bushings, u-bolts, or shocks--only springs)
Non US Spec H-41 transmission with Compound Low--$700
I purchased this tranny from the PO of my 40. He bought it from SOR and never installed. It is a used transmission, inspected by SOR, but not a rebuild. No top plate or shift lever. SOR price is $870.00, SOR club price is $754.50, plus $180 shipping. I paid $700. An H-41 sold on MUD last week for $700, so apparently that's the going market price. It's this tranny, with a 19 spline output shaft, for late model 40's and all 60's with 2F gas engines. SOR Catalog description below--

I'll be at Katemcy in March and can deliver there. IIRC LSLC Roundup is scheduled for 16-20 March.
I pass through Jackson every few months. I could probably deliver to Jackson and leave on GT's front porch, at some time in February.

Don't know how I miss seeing these good deals when they come up on MUD. I've sort of been thinking that if the "right" 55 came along.............This one sure looks like it could have been a prospect.......CRAP!

All original except swapped motor for a 350 (Not running now)
Excellent builder for Land Cruiser Enthusiast, Wont find another like this. I have orignal window sticker!!!

Potentially swapping some parts for a hardtop. The guy has other parts I don't need, but has asked for my help in getting rid of them. I will be able to pick them up and deliver to Jackson so the shipping is on me. Here is what he has from a '78 FJ40:

new rectangular turn signals from CCOT

4 buckshot mud tires (letter sized about 31-1/2" tall and 7" wide) on 15 x 7 steel spoke rims, black primed
