Then you need an adapter. A harness. A radiator. A transmission (.how are those working out?) and and and and...

And with a “Performance” 2f you will need fuel injection, header.

Adapter is not too bad when you buy it straight from Marks, harness is from Holley just like the Sniper kit. Using stock 80 radiator. Transmission issue has been solved and what I paid for is actually installed in this 4L80. First 4l80 was straight out of the Junkyard, second was a crap build by a crook that wanted a payday.

So by quick estimation:

Used 6.0 $800
Machine work for cam swap, bowl port etc.
$1200 including XFI Cam/Springs

Properly built 4L80 $1100 including converter

Adapter from Marks with freight $1100

Holley Terminator X Max $1200

Misc parts $1500 (High Estimation)

That leaves me $3900 for extra parts or paying myself $80 for 48.75 hours.

Anything we do to Cruisers is expensive, that’s a given. I will admit keeping the drivetrain all Toyota is cool but other options are plentiful.

(5) 315/75/16 BFG ATs on 40th Anniversary wheels. Less than 10k miles on ‘em, 80%+ tread left. They’ve seen some dope adventures, but are not thrashed at all. One tire has a plug in the shoulder, but holds air and is still being used. Spare has never touched pavement.

$825

I don't think that would be fun at all.....

The wind in W TX would blow it over and if you got a head wind you might actually stop in middle of road.

LOL. Almost like that in the 3rz powered Tacoma. With a tailwind I get 22mpg and headwind it's been as low as 14mpg for a tank.
My mail carrier bought one of the dudes trucks. He loves it. Says it cruises 75mph easy.

That'd get me to the bottom of the traffic flow out there. Would be fine locally though.
