Dometic was once big in the RV fridge business. May still be for all I know. They have been around for decades.
They still are well known in trucking/rv.
Mine is a dometic. Bought it used from mardis. Has worked great without issues and he can break anything.

Had a Waeco that was identical to Dometic from about 9 years ago and it crapped out on me. Replaced both circuit boards to no avail. Went ARB and never looked back.
