How many time did that place burn down?

What about the old Iron Horse Grill. I remember that place being good. More Tex Mex I guess.

Took Debbie there on our first date. She was soooo fine that night!

Iron Horse was awesome. Cool building (old meat packing plant) and great food. It burned down at least twice.

Uh did you say that mini vans were coo?l  uh functional maybe, but cool...um no.

They are the black hole that tries to suck all families into.. they try to be cool but they are simply not.

can they tow-no ( i am talkin bigger than a bicycle)
can they be lifted-no ( f off astro van owners you are still dumb, fo real)
can they be customized- yeah but that makes it stupid..er
can they expedition- no
can they go offroad- if you consider a level dirt driveway offroad

It was in our wedding vows not to ever have a mini van in the family. Even before we even thought about having kids.

Oh man you have some climbing to get out of that hole you just dug fo yerself.

Only thing you can do now to make up for that is...yep you guessed it buy an 80.

The volvo is all wheel drive....I guess I could keep it and lift it...the problem is I got my 27th ticket in the damn thing the other day and didn't realize I was doing 90 in a 70 :steer:

Iron Horse owner had a beauty of baby blue 40. I tried to buy it from him when he moved to New Zeeland right after the restaurant burned down for the 2nd time. He was in to race horses IIRC. His daughter was here finishing high school, and drove the 40 around some. I saw the truck over at a shop off of northside several times.

Noticed son eating a chicken nugget the other day. It had been a few days since I had bought chicken nuggets. Not sure how old it was.

... and then it dawned you that you don't even have kids.... and you like...

I want Mexican next time I'm in Jackson... mexican sushi

I used to love that place. This article is from back in '03; wonder what became of his plan to reopen it? Their salsa was incredible.

My favorite Mexican place in Jackson (or Ridgeland technically) is Cinco de Mayo, formerly Fernando's. Right there where Lake Harbor and Old Canton intersect. Papito's is also good, but the service was horrible last time I was there.

Sorry...back to the script...

So says the CLC food critic! You go Nolen!

I have 6 mexican places within 5 miles of my house.......theyare taking over Niknar county

It is all garbage here.

I am going to Babalu tomorrow for an inspection. I have HIGH hopes.

I dont think you will be disappointed......I learned that it's better to order an appetizer and a FEW main dishes and share with the :princess: because you can try more and they actually designed the menu for that type of culinary pallet.....dont know......they will either sink or it will be a hit.............little pricey

Babalu was good.

Not Mexican....but great food.

it was described to us as "Mexican that is upscale" to me upscale Mexican means you drink DosXX instead of miller and you get extra sour cream....it's really more of a "Spanish/Caribbean" style restaurant.

I didn't get the I love Lucy references until it was explained to me.
