my update, my marlin seals are leaking bad now, probably 15-20k on them since the rebuild, bummer......
anybody using Marlin Crawler HD inner axle seals?

Sounds familiar. Got about 1/3 of that when I used them.
Somebody should forward this thread to marlin, they should have an oppurtunity for feedback on a defective product so they can sort their stuff out.
BTW, which seal spring did you guys use, and where did the seal wear out/allow fluid leaks?

Yikes! I just put Marlin inner axle seals in the rear of my Tacoma. Hope they last longer than that!

Agree, have seen several fail/leak early. I use Marlin seals on the early rigs, use stock type on the '80.
I used the Marlin seals in the front and after 15000km they started leaking, Going to go back to stock and see how long they last.
Marlin failed at 1K miles. No idea why. No grove on axle. OEM 8K miles and counting.
