These tanks seem pretty awesome. I was wondering how hard they are to clean and drain for the winter? Most of the installs shown on their website look like they would last about 12 min offroad or about 6 min on a gravel highway though.

Why do you think it wouldn't last?
WaterPORT - Frame Mounted

I would think if you frame mounted it in Canada it would freeze and crack in the winter, then it would be no good.
But they offer a tank that is unmounted and you just take out when not in use. It looks good and isn't overpriced.
My concern would be that the plastic isn't for potable water, meaning it would taste funny if you used it for drinking water.

Anyone ever used one?

Driving 1000's of Km's on gravel roads at high speed will eat anything that isn't armored. One year I put 3 sets of brake backing plates and 6 sets of shocks on a gmc van that we we using to cross the trans Labrador highway regularly. The rocks kicked up from the front tires do serious damage. I know someone that even wore through the rear axle from rock damage!

Good call on the tank not being useful for potable water, I never thought of that.
