Anybody Have a 1FZ-FE?

Hey, friends.

I have a friend and future club member who is getting his feet wet with a locked 1995 FZJ80. Unfortunately, his specimen has fell victim to the dreaded failed head gasket, which was possibly undisclosed by the seller. Before resorting to a rebuild (the bottom end is also suspect), he's on the hunt for a good, used 1FZ.

Does anyone in these here parts have something for sale?

That sucks.

You need to know if it is with OBDII or not. 95 was the year it changed about mid year. The engines are different and I think the tranny changed too. A engine pic will tell, but you will have issues if you don't get the right one.

I have one. 95 late year, so will have the OBDII. 220k miles. Runs fine and good tranny.
