i just bought an 04 lc that has
-2004 52k miles... grey with grey interior..
-Navigation.. bluetooth
-OME heavy lift 863's with bilsteins all around..
-Arb deluxe front
-Slee rear with backup camera in center of spare
-Arb lockers front and rear )
-4.88's
-new tundra take offs with 35/12.50/20 BFGs
-African Outback drawers..
-Ipod integration
-Cobra all in the mic cb..
-Carl's UCA's
-Slee tube sliders and front skid plate..

I would like a black rim combo, with alittle smaller rim but same overall tire height. So more rubber. I was thinking of just painting the rims, but just dont know.

The problem with the LC's is the 5x150 bolt pattern. Now that the newer Tundra, Sequoia and LC have this same bolt pattern...more wheel companies are making aftermarket rims. Unfortunately, the rims are 18" and larger.
It would be nice if the former owner kept his 17" combo that was posted on here when it was for sale earlier this year. There are some pro-comps in alloy and gloss black that are 16" and have less offset, which will make them stick out of the wheel well.
I have some photos if you want to check out some different looks.

here is what it used to look like....

it looks too skinny now from the front and rear. I just think it needs more of a meaty look. And any picts of suggestions would help. its in the shop getting my radar hard wired, alarm, new speakers in doors, and the front drive shaft balanced or sleeved.... Has a wierd vibration around 65

ill hopefully be the last, well that is until something new comes along. I think this was fate. I was going to build up my lx470 i had, but had an accident. I had even spoken to Slee about it 2 years ago.

Cool. I say sell the 20s with the 35" tires to someone with a tundra, get yourself a set of 16s (or 18s if 2" more of tires will work) and get some 35s. Keep the drawers, you'll wish you had them after you sell them.

Would you take my information and put me 1st on the list. You stumbled upon a real beauty! It had been my screen saver since January.

Haha. Pre-Sold already. He just bought it!

You know you have a great looking 100 when you buy it, and people ask to be put on a waiting list for when you sell it. Wish mine was like that... it's always first in line at the gas station for some reason...

I say 305 cooper stt's with black steelies. I think it would look very good.

With your gearing, you are likely going to want 35" tires, maybe 34". Basically, the size tire will be (there are a few others too)

315/75-16 (~35")(may or may not require wheel spacers as you have the UCA's)
285/75-17 (34")
285/75-18 (35")
35x12.5-18 (may or may not require wheel spacers as you have the UCA's)

I like the 285 width myself.

I'll also throw this wheel out there as it is new. Made for Staun by Performance Wheels. Ugly but functional, lightweight and strong.

I don't think it's ugly.

I'm sure a photoshop genius can give us a test fit.

i wonder if I could paint mine black or graphite? If that would tone it down? I am thinking black to match the bumpers. It is in the shop now getting stuff finsihed and I long for it. My C2s cab is just sitting in the drive and I have lost all desire to track it or even drive it.

Actually, those wheels are available in solid gun metal gray, solid white and black with the accents as in the above photo.

As long as it's not a 996, I'll take it.

The hundred is actually more enjoyable to drive then a 911 on the street, weird I know. With a 911 you always feel constrained: speed limits, curbs, people cutting your small car off. The hundred is a much more relaxing street vehicle. Cross country though...I'll take a 911, done it in both.

As far as the wheels, if you were to paint them black it would match quite well and tone down the 20" quite well. However if you actually plan to go offroad with it I suggest downsizing.

its a 997. asking 66k. 13500 miles i do believe in using ALL of my cars as they were designed. I will try and find a pict of my old cayenne that i blew the front shafts out of in a rice field duck hunting in Arkansas and my old lx 470 that i took hunting with 800 miles on it

There are a few new sizes in the nitro terra grappler that should be of interest to 100 series owner.

295/70-18 (34.41")

285/70-17 (32.72")
285/75-17 (33.86")
295/70-17 (33.19")
305/70-17 (33.98")
