A cruiser isn't exactly hard to steal.

Take a wire with aligator clips on each end, from the batt pos to coil pos and the system lights up. Laying a screw driver accross the starter contacts then starts the motor. So, I don't think a hideen kill switch is really that great of an idea.

I love the gear shift lever lock.
Back the truck up against a wall, and lock the shift lever into reverse.
Gotta lock the t-case into hi range as well though.

One other idea I had was a mechanical line lock that is turned on/off with a key.

The Cruiser kill switches I have seen use a switch to open the ground side of the coil circuit. In that case one jumper won't get it running. (two would though).

As has been said before, most thiefs are not that sophisticated. They want to try another toyota key in the ingition and drive away. If the rig fails to start after thirty seconds, they'll likly run.

What about putting one of those "boots" on the wheels like the traffic officers do? I am not sure where one would get a boot, but I think it could work. It could also allow you to park in non-parking areas because people would think that the police put it on your LC. Just an idea.

I like that Beretta holster mount!
