Another "thoughts on rust" thread

I’m here in so cal and just bought this one from the TN/GA. Owner took a salt flats Utah trip and didn’t get all the salt off. No complaints and car is solid. I wouldn’t hesitate on the ones you posted.

Spent some time removing all the skids and running boards to get a better idea of rust. Looks pretty good overall but I want to treat what is there. Would this be a good candidate for dry ice? Or is that only for oils and grease? Somebody mentioned that dry ice is good for very light rust. If not that, what is the best way to address this? I would like to remove the rear bumper cover at some point as well.

Note this now lives in So Cal and will not be subjected to further rust promoting conditions.
