Here is a few pics of my spring perches vs the ones that came in the SAS kit, Ofcourse Everything such as angle, distance between perches and height was measured and leveled off before everything was welded on, The pictures are just for comparison😁

Holy tall truck - though the tiny tires don’t help with the visual.

If you haven’t welded your perches fully you could probably lower the truck an inch by redoing them closer to the axle housing.

It should settle when the motor and tranny are installed and you may be able to remove a leaf.

Got the rear axle mocked up on the truck! as you all know we flipped the rear axle 180° so we had to cut new notches in the housing so the ring gear would fit. Got it done with nothing more than a sawzall and filling drill attachment. (Our cuts in blue circles) factory in yellow, NOTE: YOU ALSO NEED TO SWAP THE DIFF/INSPECTION COVER STUDS TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE! we also got all our shock mounts and the rear springs on. Sadly I need to cut the rear portion of the frame and extend it 3in so the springs are correctly positioned, Also have to truss the Axle but figured I'd share a few pictures from this weekend 😬👍

Hey everyone!!!!! Sorry its been a really long time since I have posted on here! I've been out getting married and having kids between now and my last post. I had to push this build off for some time due to the busy life of children and work but we are back to rock'n and roll'n! So just alittle brush up on what our build is its a 86 Toyota pickup that started off Getting a 96 LT1 Engine and front and rear FJ80 axles. Over the last year we have changed directions with the engine and went with a LS based Corvette Engine. Here are some pictures starting from where we left off to present (today)

Engine is set in place and 100% bolted down. I would also like to add, no cutting was necessary to either the firewall or trans tunnel (so far) but still need to get the trans crossmember installed and the T-case is going to be cutting it damn close!
