Im sorry for the delay, since i started the project, i moved, started a new job and became a father again for the 5 th time.
Anyway initial impressions:
-More work than i expected! it was really hard to get good welds in some areas.
-I had to relocate the panhard mount. I had to move it 1" higher to clear the radius arm. I just cut off the original mount and turned it upright and re-welded it, this did not affect my bumpsteer, in fact, it minimized it.
-Caster is dialed in.
-There is a bit more body roll, but i also removed the front sway bars, so that may contribute to the roll, however it is not bad at all, I still daily drive and tow and haul my wife and kids everywhere without hesitation.
-I don't think I gained much flex in the process if you are looking to gain just flex, you won't find much imporvement...just look at the pictures, the shock are 14" long so they are not limiting anything, thats just as far as the suspension goes.
-I like the look of a cleaner axle without brackets hanging down. This is a big plus for the wheeling I do.
-I have a 4" lift and there is plenty of room, in the picture I am fully tucked, as you can see in the front tire picture. My spring bump stop is touching but my radius arm is still 1" from my frame bump stop. No issues here.
-Yes, i like the mod, but it did seem like more work than I expected.
