Anyone know if the leatheriqe standard dark gray dye is a good match for 100?

In an effort to keep my 100 series seats in better condition than the 80 seats I'm getting ready to place an order with leatherique. I'm going to get one of their kits which includes 16oz of dye. My '99 has the gray interior and I'm wondering if the standard dark gray dye is a good match or should I pony up the extra $30 for a perfect color match? If anyone has been down this road please advise.

FWIW I tried searching for this answer and didn't have any luck so I hope I'm not repeating a question that's been asked...and answered.

Did you ended up taking Dark Gray or Gray ? I've an LX470 2007 with Gray interior and wondering if it's dark or light gray.

Citizenpaul hasn't been on MUD since 2013.

I advise you to call them. They may know. Believe it or not, the closest match from some of the leather seat vendors is considered "light gray".

For a certain match, you can clip a small sample from somewhere hidden, like inside the seatback pocket panel and send to them for matching.

Send them a headrest for color match.

I thought that through the years they would have a database of colors since most likely lots of people have already sent their headrests. But I will probably do it once they reply to my e-mail.
Thank you.
