Got a question about this trip. Will we be doing the first day's ride on Aug 3rd and the last day's ride on Aug 7th? Or are these travel days to get there and leaving on Aug 7th?
Haven't done this multi day ride before
Or does everyone show up on Aug 2nd and leave on Aug8th?

Hey Jeff,
Sorry for the delay but we as a group arrive on wed afternoon to the campground, wheel thur-sat, then head out on Sunday. Typically, I take the whole week off from work, and explore a bit around CO before arriving at Ouray on Wed and I'll be doing the same thing again this year.
One year, Steve and I ran the Rimrocker trail from Monticello, UT to Montrose, CO before arriving at Ouray. Another year, we went to the Black canyon near Montrose, CO before arriving at Ouray. Not sure what we'll be doing this year.
Some folks opt to stay longer and keep playing while the rest of the group leave for home on Sunday.

unfortunately, I won't be able to go this time. I have a reservation for space #2 hillside water+electric August 4th-6th (3 nights) if anyone wants it. I told Jill to offer it to one of you otherwise I will call back to cancel.

I'm not sure if #demoj(Justin) moved to the spot or not. You can call Jill at the campground.
I did not hear back from Jill- and I have been in Mexico. I will call her again today.
It would not be ideal for me as I need arrival on 8/3 as that's when my current reservation ends at Ridgway State Park. I don't want to have pack up my pop up on 8/3 and then have to pack up a move again on 8/4. It's kind of a lot of work to set up and close up the pop up.
Sorry to say, but Paula and I cannot make this trip. Too much happening with family. I will cancel our reservations on Pull Thru, full hook up site #18 in next day or so. This gives others a chance to book #18. Let me know here if anyone wants this site. We booked this site for 8-2 thru 8-8. Someone could book it for different dates.

I talked to Jill and mentioned that someone from our group was cancelling hillside #2 but I didn't know @liveoak real name to confirm who has currently reserved that spot. She said that there is someone booked for hillside #2 8/4 - 8/7. I am still reserved for full hookup #17 8/3 - 8/7 but did request if someone cancels a hillside water+electric for my dates to please move me as I can't use all the benefits of a full hookup with my popup.

My name is Chris G. I just called 4j again and she said my reservation for Aug 4-6 hillside #2 was still active with a note saying to offer it up to one of you. she expected the note was not read. She went ahead and cancelled me so the spot is now open but probably not for long. The number is 970-325-4418.
Hillside #15 is a tent site with no electric or water, correct?
I will call her up tomorrow with hope that I can arrive a day earlier than your 8/4 start day because I cannot extend my reservation at Ridgway SP beyond my current date, which is 8/3.
