got a 72 55 with a 2f engine. slave is out and fuel pump is leaking. neither one outwardly appears to be a huge replacement headache with someone to help that knows a bit about in-line 6 engines (that being my dad). but there are always nuances that if you know it sure can help a headache or two. anyone know of any of those? any help is most appreciated.

the slave is straight forward...I got a replacement from the local parts store. 2 bolts hold it on, and disconect the fluid line and spring. Put new one on in reverse order and bleed the system with the bleed screw. One of the easiest jobs, just may get brake fluid all over you.

The nuance is.that right after you replace the slave, the master will go

Good call...my master went about 3 months after the slave...I don't drive it that much, so it probably would have been sooner.
