(snicker) we're gonna hear from him tomorrow night. Won't fit out of the garage 'cause it won't fit through the door. :D

Bwahahaha

...still have any little stock size wheels laying around for getting it out of the shop? 8)

that and air down the tires till there almost flat. You can always sneak a couple inches.

and follow the advice from the "hilift" thread.

ratchet strap the axles down too.

The axles are setup so the rear can take a ratchet and pull down a few inches.

I actually DROPPED about 1.5" at the front frame rail and am close to equal at the rear...outta clear the garage header easy now (was VERY close before)

Pushed off the testing weekend until the 27th, so tomorrow morning is some RTI and ditch-flex time to see what hits/fits. Outta have some poseur pics Sat aft or Sun morning...

can't wait to see them pics. why did you lose some height at the front frame rail? is it because the back is slightly more jacked up (the cruiser slopes down at the front?)

Actually, the front bumper and spring hanger redesign did it....the hangers are lower, and the shackle angle steeper, so things dropped a bit. My HOPE is that a weekend of wheelin will flatten the rear a bit and level it. Right now, it's ~22.5" where the frame straights just behind the shackle reversal hole (the spring is less than 1/4" off the frame) and it's a tad over 23" at the aft portion of that same straight section (both below the door sill) If the rear doesn't drop, I'll pull a spring....the front may drop down from the 9 leaves that are in there anyways...

I love experimenting...lol

so now the topic is 7 pages long, and your done, should we change the heading to "will it start?"

i woulda p!ssed myself if you had have got it stuck in the garage.

"honey i swear the garage came with that hole above the door..."

It's been zigzagged 3' in the garage...it starts, runs, and drives...how far is the next question, to be answered tomorrow morning when I do my poseur run...lol

I just hope it's not snowing...uugh...or raining....uuuugh....

knowing my luck, not enuf gas to make the 8 blocks to top 'er off....

bastid!

nope....gonna offload the sucker onto Jon's 4-place triple so when I load mine up with the other 3 rigs for next weekend, it's all set to travel behind his Volvo!

(goin' in style...hehehe)

it's tight....maybe 1/4" taller at the B-hoop than before....and it was tight before! Had to drop rear tire pressure to 3# and then it squeeked under the door seal...barely...down the driveway, spin it around in the street, backed up the drive....

pathetic, I know....hopefully, some flex shots tomorrow...

I shoulda just done happy hour....lol

{BTW, that leak isn't mine....really...}

stock (with one added leaf)
Fj55 rears...

Woody, did you ever calculate the numbers???

drive it 8 blocks??? if you tried backing it down the driveway in australia, you'd become australia's most wanted crim.

Anti-Squat 74.23 %
Roll Axis Slope 0.10 in/in ("-" = roll understeer; "+" = roll oversteer)
Roll Center Height 24.13 in
Roll Axis Angle 5.85 degrees ("-" = roll understeer; "+" = roll oversteer)

Instant Center X-Axis 106.39 in
Instant Center Z-Axis 32.07 in

and finally, poseur #4

Pretty pleased with the flex...the tire stuff the rear fenders hard, and a center limit still need to go in, believe I've got that measurement done now. Front suspension never did tweak well on the RTI, still have over 1" of up and 3" down remaining on the shock. Rear shocks are 10.5 stroke, have 1" up and 1" down left on the RTI.

Next step....trail testing....can't wait!!
