Ambulance door alignment

I don't have a picture right now, but I noticed the top left of my passenger side ambulance door is not inline with the top right of the driver's side. I don't have any door seals installed and was wondering if this is a function of the doors closing. I'll get a picture later, but I seem to remember seeing pictures of other ones that are similar to mine. Most of the pictures I find online are looking from the passenger side so you can't really tell.

Have you tried to run a straight edge along the top of the doors to determine where the alignment issue is? It may be as simple as loosening the hinges and re-aligning the doors.

Thanks Byron but I don't think it's an alignment issue. I wish I had a picture to share right now. The doors close together and latch, it's just that top corner sticks out. I see no evidence that it was damaged

I found a picture. You can see how at the top they are not aligned

Maybe the information in this thread will help.

Looking at SOR site it appears the top hinges are side specific, is it possible you have them reversed? Same with lower hinges as well, could you have crisscrossed the hinges?

No, I am sure they are correct

I would check how the topsides fit compared to each other. Would remove the doors and set vertical to each on a flat surface to verify that they match. By the picture looks like the passenger side is bent out on the top half where the two doors meet.

Is your upper right door latch in the receiver completely? It looks to me like it's not.

I think I know what the problem is. The passenger door is a little tight and when it closes it's forcing the upper latch down and behind the striker. This is causing the driver's door to push in farther than it should. I need to adjust the passenger door to the right more so it's not as tight.
