I was having a crappy day when I wrote that. I read it myself and it came off abrasive. I apologize.

Here's the deal, I just want a radio in case of emergency. Maybe some kind of hand held radio (Ht as they call it), I don't really care to talk to people in Utah or Europe or however far ham radio goes, I'm just not that friendly. With the money hungry people on Ebay, I'm not worried about someone wanting my license to sell me a radio. The people I want to talk to are close enough for CB range. I just want a radio to get out in an emergency.......and no one is going to arrest you for that. (I.E.) If I was out with a ham licensed guy and he was incapacitated, I figure I could get on his radio and call for help and no one would call the FBI on me. :D Good job to all who passed the test. I have to study for stupid fire alarm code testing, so I don't have time for a ham license.

Congratulations Andy! I knew you could do it. Come on Luke you can do it too - anyone that can rebuild a R700 automagic trans, can pass a tech test.

I talked to Chuck this afternoon, and we will be heading up 21 road in the morning. It is supposed to be nice and cool this weekend - hope so, they missed on the wind this afternoon - it was flat windy. I think half of Moab blew in this afternoon. I got the front diff pinion seal replaced this afternoon. I managed to make an hour job into a most of the dayer - what could go wrong did. Guess 21 road will be a good test of how well I did!
