I see that I am not the only one who is suffering from wildly fluctuating voltage. I recently had my dying OEM alternator replaced with a 250-amp unit a few months back; Big-3 was done; an HBK voltage booster fuse was added as well, and life was good at a steady 14.8 volts... for a month. Now it bounces between 13.3 and 13.5; I need it at least 14.4 for my amps. Looks like my next stop is JS alternators for a 320-amp unit with a Harrison Labs VSS-100A unit to follow later on. For those not familiar with HL gear, if you have a healthy electrical system, this unit pins the voltage at 14.7 for anything downstream of it; it does not go up or down...14.7 at all times.
Harrison Labs VSS-100A FluxCap The Harrison Labs VSS-100A FluxCap is a high-current 12V power support module designed to help stabilize voltage in demanding automotive electrical systems. It functions as a fast-response electrical reservoir between the vehicle’s charging system and connected...
