'We' will get these installed before the end of next week.;)

you light weight,, i think i keep pretty close to that in the rig all the time, between tools, spares, recovery survival ect ect. rides smooth that way.:grinpimp:

i found about 6 bags of ready mix in the rig really helped speed up the break in period and settle them right down.

ya 300lb is the empty wight  my last trip was about 6 or 700 or more the tires were up in the fender wells .
she was low riding scraping and bumper banging up in to the Panements.

six bags

Ahh... I really do miss the old pig.... But I am happy it has a good home now and I can at least see it on the web every so often....

Hey MiniPigg  I hope to get out that way some day and meet you one day heres a pic of the pig camping at Saline Vally Hot Springs.

pig gets the rack at marks off road. Thanks mark for letting me work on my 55 at your shop

Here is the shackle angel nice :D the extra 1" makes a big difference
I had to grind a bit of the eye's of the springs (bolth ends) as they are to wide.
The front hangers I used a big cresent wrench to open them up a little bit. The rear I used a hack saw to trim the bushings to get them to fit. Mark had some of old shocks from his lifted 45 that where just the right size ;) he he

sweet

the new hight. the pig sits darn near level now i'm very happy with the alcans. The ride is smooth and cushy it rides as smooth as the old springs. I was very suprised

Here it is :) i will get a day light pic tomorrow on flat groung

Calico...

Dude looks sweet... now my old pig has Alcans... cool.... I bought the set I have from Ben..... I like everything but the front spring shackle angle. I would like to see what yours looks like. The rears look good as do mine.
I swear those Yoko's got to be like 6 years old dude (i think i bought those in 2001)... time for some new tires....

What shocks are you using?

I currently have the pig in the garage torn down to nothing... not sure when its going to be back on the road.... but maybe god willing it might be in the next couple months.

I only did the rear springs, the front is the same except for longer shocks. The rear shocks are pro comps from marks 45 with 5'' alcans not sure of the size

Tires? thanks for reminding me :crybaby: I have 3 trucks that need tires
I want to put Yoko's on the pig again I like them :)

I'm looking into a lift for my 55, you installed the 4" Alcan on stock shackles, how much did it cost you? Mind posting a daytime shot of it? I'm thinking I'm going to go that route.
