The best advice I can offer is when you have to use it, make sure the hole in tire (if on vehicle) is facing either 3 or 9 o'clock. This gives you the best angle for leverage for jamming in the reamer and plugger.

Sounds good, luckily it is towards the outer side of the tire clear of the fender, just gotta get some time to plug it.

As long as the hole is in the tread area, you are golden. If the hole is in the sidewall, get a new tire.

it is right between the lugs of the MT/R about 2-3 inches in from the side wall. i think the nail may have gone in and turned instead of going straight in, either way I will see eventually when I get to it. Oh and getting a new tire is damn near impossible now, I bought the last one in the country apparently, until they start production again in December. Plus these tires are really expensive new, maybe if I can find one for cheap I can get it. I like the fact that I only have $200 into this set of rims and tires, plus it makes my wife happier too :D

JT, Are you going to be driving this to work? I'll have to drive by to see the new look:banana::banana::banana:

Yep, drove it in today with them on, I have to be a little carefull since they stick out 3" per side :D, but they will be on until I get a set of 35" AT's for DD duties, once I sell the 33" MT/Rs I had on it. Swing by anytime. Should have extended flares within the next few days to install to get me back to legal, plus I have to weld and extension to my rear bumper to get me under 30" I think I am around 35-37" at the rear bumper, which the cops really don't like.

I see a trip to the hill in my near future:grinpimp:

Club meeting and run

This will be the last run for my 55 in its current configuration. After the meeting I'm gonna start an engine swap, removing the stock 2F (getting a bit tired) and installing the Jim C high performance 2F out of Dozier's FJ60. The "new" engine is sitting on my garage floor(among many other items!!!!!) awaiting transplant into the piggy. I look forward to the additional power and am anxious to see what additional mods I might be looking at after the engine install is done. Looking to do the swap over the Thanksgiving weekend- have five days off (Thursday through Monday) and ought to have the old girl breathing fire by sometime Monday if all goes well. Anyone wanting to drop by is welcome to show up and kibbitz a bit. Might even run into Jeff and Matt Reed if the timing and cruiser karma are right......................Gary S

Dang, you guys are busy. I'm missing this run and meeting now. Apparently there was another club meeting scheduled this day that I either forgot or didn't know about.

JT- dont hold your breath on me entering the comp. Its too late now anyhow. but as soon as Molly heard the word "helmet" She was like what do you need a helmet for and I dont want you breaking your truck. Id like to watch though and maybe run it after the comp is over.

Here's some quick pictures with the 35's
