1999 Toyota Landcruiser Prado KZJ90 mid-wheelbase 2 door 3.0L 1KZ-TE turbo diesel, 5 speed manual transmission, RHD 165,000 kms (imported from Japan: spring of 2019 with 95k kms, and graded 4B at auction) Alberta inspected, registered and on-road since Dec 2019, with regular synthetic oil changes.
Excellent condition inside and out. Great fuel economy at 10L/100kms, with plenty of power in town and at highway speeds. Maintenance up to date, including timing belt, cooling system, glowplugs, fuel filter and A/C. Snow tires only have 8k kms on them. (will also include a set of A/T’s but not much left on them). New OEM Toyota lower balljoints were installed at 150k kms. Brand new struts. Interstate battery is two years old. Windshield does have chips and cracks on passenger side.
Additions: Snorkel, K&N filter, Sony stereo (with Android Auto), ARB winch bumper (fitted with an older Ramsey winch spooled with synthetic rope), CB plus antenna, coolant preheater, 2 inch receiver, flat-4 trailer wiring.
Will include original bumper and sidesteps, OEM radio, and new OEM Toyota water pump (in box) for the next timing belt interval (still 35k kms away).
After searching for a long time for this combo of manual/turbo-diesel, I bought this as a platform for overland adventures… Then 2 months later covid hit and instead it served as my commuter while I bought an older “project” Landcruiser. The kms I’ve put on have been all highway on my commute from Airdrie to Olds and back every day. Now that the older project ‘Cruiser is finished, I’ve reluctantly concluded that having three Landcruisers (my wife has one as well) might be excessive?
No trades/consignees will be considered. Not eligible for US import until 2024.
