He is in Omaha. Last night about 40 miles south of Omaha road was very bad...shoulder full of potholes. Hit one. We found him Mid State Utility Trailer sales in Omaha....forward to this morning. As of now center axle is bent, front axle maybe bent. They have the tire replaced already. Will update when I have further information.

Man, very sorry to hear this. Glad everyone is safe and you found a good shop. At least it happened near a bigger metropolitan area and not in the middle of nowhere. Keep us posted.
 
Oh, Leonard will get it fixed and be back on the road in no time.

Oh man! I suppose it's expected to have some issues, but still sucks.
 
Well, I have some bad news, some good news, and some more bad news. Center axle is Bent, front axle is ok, but they are driving to Kansas City to pick up a new axle....they should be rolling by 6:00. May try to get to Sioux Falls tonight.

Man, sure hate to hear this......but like RunPMc said, glad every one is OK.

Thanks for letting CLC (and the world) tag along on the trip planning/getting there/trip/etc. Some of us need this vicarious vacation!
 
They finally got on the road again a little before 7:00. Here's a pic of the axle.

Sucks it happened, but NOW is the best time for sh!t like that to go wrong. Glad you got it out of the way early on!
 
In the old days I kept an entire axle (non brake) mounted to the front of my trailer.

Gary Cobberly taught me the trick

2 spares. 3 hubs. An axle.

Never needed the axle but I robbed the hubs.
