Good day all!
I’m about to start removing the A/C compressor on my 2011 Land Cruiser 200 (5.7L 3UR-FE).
Before I begin, I wanted to ask for the best approach to access on this engine..
It looks like a nightmare around the compressor with oil filter, KDSS components, and suspension parts nearby etc and I can’t access, let alone understand how to remove.
  • Should I start from side or underneath ?
  • Is it recommended to drop or loosen the sway bar for better access?
  • Any brackets or components that should be moved out of the way first?
I’d like to avoid unnecessary disassembly and not touch steering or KDSS if possible.

Any advice and/or video from someone who has done this job would be really appreciated!

I recently managed to fix the central diff lock actuator to reasonable state and am now trying to tackle the Aircon Compressor .

Thanks!
Y
