destin, there is also a couple of threads on this site that talk about suitable oil weight... interesting stuff... you'll notice a lil bit of difference in ur oil pressure gauge dependent on oil weight...just my .02 cents

what weight did you use? same as your motor oil i assume ...but...what do you run?

I either run 15w40 or 20w50...but here in NE area i dont know how it would perform with a heavyer weight.

i am guessing heaver weight better filtration? but would it glob it up?

I dont have one ...never did...i always thought they were cool

I use 10w30.....Seems to work fine for my needs....As good oil pressure as you'd expect from an F....Even after warmup......
