Does anyone have any afternarket sliders???? Pictures???

There are a ton of different sliders out there in use. Slee, Bump-it, etc. Should be able to find examples of many of them in either the "100 series picture thread", or using the search function

I'm going on the do it myself path...

Are the step sliders useful at all in entering the vehicle? I don't really use my factory running boards now, but may use something if my LX starts getting higher. My kids do use the running boards and will be little people for several more years.

My pickup has some BIG ones and I thought about taking them off, but then I realized I use them a lot and I'd only be removing them for aesthetics.

In short, yes. I went with MetalTech's Outpost sliders because the angle was in between a normal slider and a step slider. My 5 yr old uses them every time she gets in and out of the truck but they are tucked back enough that I can get in and out without getting my dress slacks dirty. I may not use them for getting in and out, but I use them as a step all of the time: To wash the roof, to reach stuff in the garage, to clean the windshield at the gas station, etc.

Did you get the full dimple die plating? Or does anyone have a picture of that handy?

I didn't do the full dimple die. Just the step plates:

This is taken from the Outpost slider thread:
I installed a set last night and had to take the front mudflap off. The rockers will take their place and probably provide better coverage anyway. I went with the fill plates front and rear.
