Aftermarket racks

There have been many threads and good pics of the various aftermarket roof racks from full to half racks.

Do any of them accept a Yakima ski rack? Probably ought to check out a few sites, but thought I'd ask as well.

Already have a ski rack that mounts to factory rack just fine. If I remove the factory rack, I still need to mount a ski rack.

Haven't you fawked up just about everything on your cruiser? Is the Hannibal any different? ???

The Hannibal works great for skis (or just about anything else). Just put them in a bag and toss on top. We had 8 pais of skis on top last weekend. IMO it's a lot easier than using a traditional ski rack.

I like the looks of Wilderness racks. They come in both half and full length versions and LOTS of accessories are available including Thule and Yakima adapotors.

They certainly look nice, can anyone comment on integrity?

I have a Wilderness rack on my fj80, I like it alot and would buy it again, actually I did buy it again as the 1st one was stolen.

i don't know about water flowing in the gutters, my mind usually blocks the flow

as for roof racks, i looked into getting a custom one done by a fab shop, and it worked out cheaper than commercial ones... and you got them built to how you want

No, the weight is the cool thing about it. It's aluminum and light as a puff fart on a cold day at a Jets game. Selling it because I won't be using a roof rack any more. I used to have one on from Memorial Day through 1/1, but now changed my set up.
